Melamet Cream is used to treat melasma and other hyperpigmentation disorders. It helps lighten dark patches by reducing excess melanin production and improving skin tone. The cream also helps reduce redness, itching, and inflammation associated with pigmented skin conditions.

• Before applying Melamet cream, wash your hands thoroughly and ensure that the affected area is also clean and dry. 
• Take a small amount of the ointment on your fingertips and gently spread it into a thin layer over the affected area.  
• Consult with your doctor about the appropriate dosage to ensure the optimal Melamet cream benefits.

• Melamet cream is a topical ointment meant strictly for external use.

Melamet cream composition primarily includes Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin.

• Hydroquinone is a depigmenting agent. It blocks the process that causes hyperpigmentation and helps in imparting an even skin tone. 
• Mometasone is a steroid that inhibits the transmission of chemical messengers responsible for redness, itching, and/or inflammation in the affected area. 
• Tretinoin is a vitamin A residue which aids in the efficient renewal of the skin in the affected area.

• Store Melamet cream at a cool temperature, away from direct sunlight and high humidity.  
• Keep Melamet cream in a place where children and pets can't reach. 
• Keep Melamet cream in the tube it came in and do not transfer it to any other container. 
• Check the expiration date of the cream before use and dispose properly if the date has passed.

• Extended exposure to sunlight is the primary cause of Melasma. The effect of harmful UV and infrared rays on your skin leads to hyperpigmentation. Avoid staying out in the sun for long durations and always apply sunscreen during the day, even if you stay indoors. 
• Hormonal imbalances also lead to melasma. Take note if you are taking any birth control pills or pregnancy medications and discontinue them or choose an alternative if necessary. 
• Visit your doctor and get checked for any hormonal imbalances that may cause Melasma. 
• Incorporate vitamin C sources (like citrus fruits), leafy vegetables, and fresh fruits into your diet. Drink plenty of water and other healthy fluids to promote skin health.

• Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin before applying this ointment to a larger area.  
• Always follow the prescribed dosage of Melamet cream. Using it in less amounts might not do the work whereas its excessive use may worsen the skin condition. 
• Melamet cream side effects are often temporary. However, if you feel concerned about any of these effects, talk to your doctor to rule out any complications.
