CompositionClincitop Gel is used to treat inflammatory acne by targeting the bacteria that cause spots and reducing skin irritation. It helps clear existing pimples and prevent new breakouts on the face, chest and back.
It contains clindamycin, a topical antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of acne-causing bacteria in the pores, which reduces swelling and redness.
Apply a thin layer to the affected areas after washing with a mild cleanser, as directed. Do not use it on broken or eczema-affected skin, and continue for the full course advised.
Tell your doctor if you develop excessive dryness, peeling or a burning sensation, so the frequency can be adjusted. Use it only for the prescribed course to help limit antibiotic resistance, and seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea.
