CompositionLTK 25 Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. By relaxing the blood vessels, it helps lower blood pressure and ease the strain on the heart. It is also used to lower the risk of stroke in people with an enlarged heart muscle, and to protect the kidneys in people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
It contains losartan, which belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). Take it daily at the same time as prescribed, with or without food. Keep taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report marked dizziness or a reduced amount of urine.
