Lmwx 60 Injection is used to prevent and treat blood clots, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). It is a single-ingredient anticoagulant containing enoxaparin, a low-molecular-weight heparin.
It is also used alongside other treatment in certain heart conditions. It is given as an injection under the skin in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop it without medical advice, as this can raise the risk of a clot.
Avoid activities with a high risk of bruising or injury, use a soft toothbrush, and rotate the injection site as shown by your healthcare professional.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bleeding problems, kidney problems or a low platelet count and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report unusual bruising, bleeding that will not stop or black stools to your doctor. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
