Enoxarin 60 Injection is used to prevent and treat harmful blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism. It is a single-ingredient anticoagulant containing enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH).
It is also used to treat acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and heart attack, to prevent clots from growing. It is given by a trained healthcare professional, under the skin or into a vein during certain procedures, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Avoid activities with a high risk of bruising or injury and use a soft-bristled toothbrush. Attend the blood tests your doctor advises, including platelet counts.
Before it is given, tell your doctor if you have active bleeding, a low platelet count, severe kidney disease, high blood pressure or a history of stroke and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell any dentist or doctor who treats you that you are receiving an anticoagulant. Report unusual bruising or bleeding to your doctor right away. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not end treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
