CompositionLipi EZ 20 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart-related conditions such as heart disease, angina, heart attack and stroke. It is a combination medicine containing a statin and ezetimibe (a cholesterol absorption inhibitor).
Together they lower harmful (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides while raising helpful (HDL) cholesterol. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when your cholesterol looks normal, as it works over time to protect your heart.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks and more vegetables, fruit and dal. Regular exercise, a healthy weight and quitting smoking also help.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver problems or unexplained muscle pain, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report persistent muscle pain, tenderness or weakness right away. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
