CompositionLevozet Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal and year-round (perennial) allergies, such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and watery eyes. It is also used for hay fever and for itchy skin conditions such as hives (urticaria) and rashes.
It contains levocetirizine, an antihistamine that eases the symptoms caused by allergic reactions. Take it as prescribed. Although it is less likely to cause drowsiness than some older antihistamines, it may still make some people feel sleepy, so take care when driving until you know how it affects you.
Alongside this medicine, identifying and avoiding your allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen, or pet dander, keeping living spaces clean and well ventilated, and rinsing the nose with saline can help reduce allergy symptoms.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney problems or are taking other medicines, including those that cause drowsiness. Speak to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if you feel unusually drowsy. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
