How Laformin Gv 1 Tablet 10 Works?
Laformin GV 1mg/500mg/0.2mg Tablet ER contains Glimepiride, metformin, and voglibose, which is a combination of three anti-diabetic drugs. When single or dual therapy is ineffective, they function through various methods to give better blood sugar management. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that lowers blood glucose by increasing the amount of insulin generated by the pancreas. Metformin is a biguanide that reduces glucose synthesis in the liver, delays glucose absorption in the intestines, and improves insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that stops complex carbohydrates from being broken down into simple sugars like glucose. This helps to keep blood glucose levels from rising after a meal.
