Kyrab 10 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Healing of the inflamed or eroded oesophagal lining

• Management of peptic ulcers in the stomach

• Treatment of duodenal ulcers

• Prevention of NSAID-related ulcers

• Management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

• Relief from excessive stomach acid production

• Prevention of stomach ulcer recurrence

• Healing of acid-damaged tissues in the digestive tract

Follow these instructions while taking Kyrab 10 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.

• Continue taking the medicine for the full course prescribed by your doctor.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor for advice.

Kyrab 10 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Kyrab 10 MG Tablet 10 contains dexrabeprazole (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Proton pump inhibition: Dexrabeprazole blocks an enzyme called hydrogen/potassium adenosine triphosphatase (H+/K+ ATPase) in the stomach's parietal cells. This enzyme is also known as the gastric proton pump.

• Acid reduction: By inhibiting the proton pump, dexrabeprazole stops the final step of acid production in the stomach, effectively reducing the amount of acid released.

• Irreversible binding: Dexrabeprazole forms a permanent bond with the proton pump enzymes, which means they remain inactive until the body produces new enzymes.

• Healing promotion: With less stomach acid present, the damaged tissues in the oesophagus, stomach, or duodenum can heal more effectively without continued acid irritation.

• When managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd), avoid foods that trigger acid reflux, such as spicy foods, citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolate, coffee, and fatty meals.

• Eat smaller, more frequent meals rather than large ones, and avoid lying down for at least two hours after eating to help reduce stomach acid production and prevent peptic ulcers.
