Ketorol Tablet is used to relieve short-term, moderate to severe pain, such as pain after surgery, injury-related discomfort, dental pain, or menstrual cramps. It contains ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and swelling.
Take this tablet exactly as prescribed, with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation. It is intended for short-term use only, usually for a few days, as prolonged use can increase the risk of side effects.
Staying well hydrated and avoiding alcohol during treatment can help reduce the strain on your stomach and kidneys while taking this medicine. Resting the painful area alongside the tablet may also improve comfort.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, kidney or heart disease, or are taking other pain-relief or blood-thinning medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice black stools, unusual bruising, or stomach pain that does not go away. It is not recommended during pregnancy.
