ARKAPRES 100 TABLET 10 is used to control high blood pressure and may also be used to help manage migraines, ADHD symptoms and menopausal hot flashes.

Uses of ARKAPRES 100 TABLET 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• Other Uses: May also be used in migraine prevention, ADHD and menopausal hot flashes.
• Heart Rate: Helps reduce a rapid heart rate.

Follow these instructions while taking ARKAPRES 100 TABLET 10:

• Take this tablet orally with a glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it.

• You may take it with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for consistent effects.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

ARKAPRES 100 TABLET 10 contains Clonidine (100 mcg), which works on the body as follows:

• Binds to Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptors: Clonidine attaches to specific receptors in your brainstem called alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which helps control the activity of your nervous system.

• Reduces Sympathetic Outflow: By stimulating these receptors, it decreases the signals from your central nervous system that would otherwise increase blood pressure and heart rate.

• Decreases Peripheral Vascular Resistance: This medicine relaxes and widens your blood vessels, reducing the resistance to blood flow throughout your body.
