Istavel 50 mg Tablet is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults suffering from type 2 diabetes. It works by helping the body regulate insulin more effectively after meals. Istavel 50 mg Tablet contains the following component:

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): It is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It works by obstructing an enzyme called DPP-4, which typically breaks down incretin hormones in the body.
