Gluconorm-G 3 Forte Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Improving blood sugar control in conjunction with diet and exercise for adults with type 2 diabetes

• Balancing blood sugar levels in adults who have not achieved adequate glycemic control using glimepiride or metformin alone

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Gluconorm-G 3 Forte Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Glimepiride (3 mg): This component is a medium-to-long-acting sulfonylurea that reduces blood glucose levels. It works by stimulating certain cells in your pancreas (known as beta cells) to release more insulin. Glimepiride also helps your body use insulin more efficiently by decreasing glucose production in your liver and increasing peripheral glucose uptake.
