Take Gemer Forte 1 Tablet as follows:
Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably during your evening meal.
Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.
Do not take more than your doctor has recommended.

Therefore, monitoring blood glucose is essential when administering these medicines with Gemer Forte 1 Tablet.

Kidney disease: Metformin in Gemer Forte 1 Tablet may accumulate in patients with kidney disease, increasing the risk of lactic acidosis.
Liver disease: Liver problems may affect the elimination of glimepiride causing its levels to increase in your body which can lead to low blood sugar levels (hypoglycaemia).
Metabolic acidosis: Metformin should not be used if you have metabolic acidosis as it could worsen your condition.
