Furonix Cv Tablet 10  is used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, ear, nose, and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental abscesses, and sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhoea and Lyme disease. It offers effective and reliable treatment for a wide range of infections.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose without your doctor's advice.
• Even if you feel better, continue taking this medicine until you finish the full course, as advised by your doctor. This is to ensure that the infection is completely cleared.

Furonix Cv Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Cefuroxime (500 mg): This antibiotic works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to form cell walls. By disrupting cell wall synthesis, cefuroxime weakens the bacteria's structure and eventually kills them.
• Clavulanic Acid (125 mg): Certain strains of bacteria produce an enzyme known as beta-lactamase that can break down and inactivate cefuroxime. Clavulanic acid blocks this enzyme, preserving the activity of cefuroxime against these bacteria.

• Store in the original packaging to protect from light and air exposure

• For respiratory infections like bronchitis or pneumonia, avoid smoking. This can irritate your lungs and make symptoms worse.
