Fudic Cream 10gm

Fudic Cream is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected dermatitis, folliculitis, boils and erythrasma, helping control bacterial growth and support healing of the skin.

Uses of Fudic Cream are:

• Impetigo and Infected Dermatitis: Controls bacterial infection and reduces redness and irritation.
• Boils and Folliculitis: Helps clear infected, inflamed areas around hair follicles.
• Minor Cuts and Wounds: Aids healing of infected cuts and abrasions.

To use Fudic Cream correctly:

• Make sure your hands and the affected area are clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of cream gently on the affected area.

• Use your fingertip or a clean cotton swab for application.

• Gently massage until the cream is fully absorbed into the skin.

• Remember to wash your hands after applying the cream.

• If you're unsure about anything, it's best to consult your doctor.

Fudic Cream is applied topically.

Fudic Cream contains fusidic acid (2%). This component acts in the body in the following ways:

• Binds to EF-G: Fusidic acid works by attaching itself to a bacterial protein called elongation factor G (EF-G). This protein is essential for the bacteria to form new proteins.
• Prevents protein synthesis: By binding with EF-G on the ribosome (a part of bacterial cells), fusidic acid stops EF-G from releasing from the ribosome. This action inhibits protein synthesis.
• Controls infection spread: The binding and inhibition of protein synthesis impair bacterial growth. This action helps control the spread of infection, allowing your body's immune defences to eliminate the remaining bacteria.

• Store Fudic Cream at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 30°C.

• Keep the cream in its original, tightly sealed container.

• Avoid exposure to direct heat and moisture; do not refrigerate or freeze.

• Keep Fudic Cream out of reach of children.

• Check and adhere to the printed expiry date, discarding any leftover cream 28 days after first opening.

• If you have skin infections managed by Fudic Cream, ensure you maintain good personal hygiene. Regularly wash your hands with soap and clean warm water to reduce the risk of spreading bacteria.

• Avoid scratching or picking at infected areas on your skin. This can exacerbate irritation and could potentially spread the infection further.
