Forglyn Forte Respicaps is used for the following:

• Long-term maintenance treatment of COPD
• Management of chronic bronchitis
• Control of emphysema symptoms
• Prevention of airflow obstruction
• Improvement of breathing in lung diseases
• Reduction of COPD exacerbations
• Long-term bronchodilation therapy
• Maintenance control of respiratory symptoms
• Regular management of airway narrowing
• Prevention of wheezing in chronic lung conditions

Follow these instructions while using Forglyn Forte Respicaps:

• Place the capsule in the chamber of your prescribed inhaler device.
• Do not swallow the capsule as it is meant for inhalation only.
• Breathe out fully before placing the mouthpiece between your lips.
• Breathe in deeply and steadily through the inhaler to inhale the medicine.
• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds after inhalation.
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of mouth infections.
• Store the capsules in a dry place at room temperature.
• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

Forglyn Forte Respicaps is inhaled via a suitable inhaler device.

Forglyn Forte Respicaps contains two active ingredients:

• Formoterol fumarate (12 mcg): This is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that stimulates the beta2 receptors in your lungs, causing the muscles around the airways to relax and widen, making it easier to breathe. This effect lasts for an extended period, providing long-term control of COPD symptoms.
• Glycopyrronium (25 mcg): This is a Long-Acting Muscarinic Antagonist (LAMA) that blocks the action of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors in your lungs. Acetylcholine is a natural substance that causes the airways to narrow. By blocking its effects, glycopyrronium helps keep the airways open and reduces mucus secretion in the lungs.

• Store Forglyn Forte Respicaps in a dry place at room temperature below 25°C.
• Use capsules immediately after removing from the blister pack.
• Do not store capsules in the inhaler device.
• Keep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use Forglyn Forte Respicaps after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Quit smoking, as tobacco smoke irritates the airways and worsens COPD symptoms that Forglyn Forte Respicaps helps manage.
• Maintain good hydration by drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily to help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to clear your lungs when you have COPD.
