Feritas Injection 5 Ml contains elemental iron (20 mg) and works in the body as follows:

• Iron Sucrose Dissociation: Once administered intravenously, the iron sucrose complex in Feritas Injection 5 Ml disintegrates into iron and sucrose.
• Absorption by Reticuloendothelial System: The released iron is then processed by parts of your body known as the reticuloendothelial system. This system includes your liver, spleen, and bone marrow.
• Haemoglobin Formation: In the bone marrow, this iron gets incorporated into haemoglobin within developing red blood cells.
• Correction of Iron Deficiency Anaemia: Through these processes, Feritas Injection 5 Ml aids in replenishing your body's iron stores and enabling the production of functional red blood cells. As a result, it helps manage iron deficiency anaemia.

• Store Feritas Injection 5 Ml in the refrigerator or (2°C - 8°C). Do Not Freeze.
