Femoston 2/10 Tablet may interact with the following medications:

• Blood pressure-lowering medicines (such as amlodipine, losartan): May reduce the efficacy of blood pressure-lowering medicines.
• Anticoagulants (such as warfarin, dabigatran): May reduce the efficacy of anticoagulants.
• Anticonvulsants (such as phenytoin, carbamazepine): May reduce the efficacy of Femoston 2/10 Tablet.
• Antibiotics (such as rifampicin erythromycin): May reduce the efficacy of Femoston 2/10 Tablet.
• Antifungals (such as ketoconazole and itraconazole): May increase the efficacy of Femoston 2/10 Tablet.
• Hormone therapies (such as levothyroxine insulin): May increase the efficacy of hormone therapies.

Femoston 2/10 Tablet can interact with conditions/diseases, including

• Breast cancer: This tablet may worsen the condition as it contains estrogen, which can stimulate the growth of hormone-sensitive breast cancer cells.
• Estrogen-dependent neoplasia: This medication may aggravate the condition by promoting the growth of tumours that are sensitive to estrogen, such as certain types of uterine or ovarian cancers.
• Undiagnosed genital bleeding: This tablet may interfere with the diagnosis of underlying conditions causing genital bleeding and potentially worsen the condition if the cause is estrogen-related.
• Untreated endometrial hyperplasia: The estrogen in the tablet may exacerbate the condition by further thickening the uterine lining, increasing the risk of endometrial cancer if not treated with a progestin.
• Active deep vein thrombosis: This medication may worsen DVT due to the increased risk of blood clot formation associated with estrogen therapy.
• Pulmonary embolism: This medication may exacerbate this condition as estrogen can increase the risk of blood clots, potentially worsening a pulmonary embolism.

The daily dose of Femoston 2/10 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the age, severity of the condition and response to treatment.

Taking more than the recommended dosage of Femoston 2/10 Tablet may cause symptoms like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, vaginal bleeding, or tenderness in the breasts. If you have taken too much, seek urgent medical assistance to avoid potential harm.

If you miss a dose of Femoston 2/10 Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
