FEMOSTON Tablet 28 may interact with the following medicines:

• Antihypertensive medicines (e.g., amlodipine, losartan): Hormone replacement therapy may affect blood pressure control in some individuals. Your doctor may monitor your blood pressure regularly during treatment.
• Antidiabetic medicines (e.g., metformin, insulin): Oestrogen-containing medicines may affect blood sugar control in some patients. Your doctor may advise regular blood glucose monitoring during treatment.
• Antitubercular medicines (e.g., rifampicin, rifabutin): These medicines may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal therapy.
• Antiepileptic medicines (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin): These medicines may lower hormone levels in the body and reduce the effectiveness of FEMOSTON Tablet 28. Your doctor may adjust treatment if required.
• Antiviral medicines (e.g., ritonavir, nelfinavir): These medicines may affect hormone metabolism and alter the effectiveness or side effect profile of hormone replacement therapy.
• Herbal medicines (e.g., St John’s wort): These products may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal medicines by increasing their breakdown in the liver.

FEMOSTON Tablet 28 should be used with caution if you have:

• History of blood clots: Hormone replacement therapy may increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism in susceptible individuals.
• Breast cancer or oestrogen-dependent tumours: This medicine may worsen hormone-sensitive conditions and should only be used under strict medical supervision.
• Endometriosis or uterine fibroids: Hormonal therapy may worsen these conditions in some patients.
• Heart disease or stroke risk factors: Oestrogen-containing medicines may slightly increase the risk of cardiovascular complications in susceptible individuals.

The daily dose of FEMOSTON Tablet 28 should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on menopausal symptoms, medical history, and response to therapy. Take the tablets in the sequence mentioned on the pack and do not stop treatment without consulting your doctor.

Taking more than the prescribed amount of FEMOSTON Tablet 28 may increase the risk of nausea, vomiting, dizziness, breast tenderness, or irregular vaginal bleeding. If overdose is suspected, seek medical attention.

If you forget to take a dose of FEMOSTON Tablet 28, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule. Do not take double doses to make up for the missed dose.
