Eumosone M Cream is used as prescribed for fungal skin infections with associated inflammation, such as inflamed ringworm, athlete's foot or jock itch. It should not be used for eczema or dermatitis unless a fungal infection has been diagnosed.
It contains clobetasone, a corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching, and miconazole, an antifungal that stops fungal growth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer as prescribed, and use it only for the duration advised.
Keep the treated area clean and dry, and wear loose, breathable clothing, particularly in skin folds and moist areas, to reduce irritation and help prevent the infection from returning.
Tell your doctor about any allergies or other skin medicines you use before starting this cream. Avoid using it for longer than prescribed, as prolonged use of corticosteroid creams can thin the skin; consult your doctor if this occurs.
