Etan G Cream 20Gm

Etan-G Cream is used for reducing inflammation and itchiness associated with skin conditions responsive to corticosteroids, and short-term management of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

• Corticosteroid-Responsive Skin Conditions: Reduces inflammation and itchiness in a range of inflammatory skin conditions.
• Plaque Psoriasis: Provides short-term management of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Follow these steps while using Etan-G Cream:

• Before applying, make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Gently massage a thin layer of the cream into the affected areas, ensuring complete coverage.

• Apply the cream as per your doctor's instructions.

• Make sure you wash your hands after applying, unless your hands are the area being treated.

• Avoid using occlusive dressings or bandages over the treated area.

• If there's no improvement after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Etan-G Cream is applied topically.

Etan-G Cream contains two active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05 %): This potent corticosteroid works by inducing proteins known as lipocortins which inhibit the production of inflammation mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This action reduces inflammation and itching associated with various skin conditions.

• Gentamicin (0.1 %): As an aminoglycoside antibiotic, gentamicin stops the growth of bacteria by binding to bacterial ribosomes and disrupting protein synthesis. This action helps manage skin infections effectively.

• Keep it away from direct light and heat.

• Ensure that the tube is tightly closed after use to prevent air or moisture exposure.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach and sight of children.
