Erly 6mg Pre Filled Pen 3ml is used for:

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise
• Reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events in adults with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease

• Use Erly 6mg Pre Filled Pen 3ml exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
• Administer once daily at any time of day, independently of meals.
• Initiate treatment at a lower dose as advised, then gradually increase to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
• Never share the pre-filled pen with another person, even if the needle is changed.
• Inspect the solution before use. Do not use if it appears cloudy or discoloured.

Erly 6mg Pre Filled Pen 3ml is intended for subcutaneous injection only. It must not be administered intravenously or intramuscularly.

Erly 6mg Pre Filled Pen 3ml contains the following active components:

• Liraglutide (6.0 mg): Liraglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that stimulates insulin release in response to elevated blood sugar levels, suppresses glucagon secretion, slows gastric emptying, and promotes a feeling of fullness. These actions help reduce blood sugar levels and support weight management.
• Phenols:  Act as preservatives to maintain the stability and sterility of the formulation.

• Store unused pens in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C.
• Do not freeze.
• After first use, store as advised by the manufacturer and protect from heat and light.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

• Follow a calorie-controlled, balanced diet rich in vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats.
• Avoid excessive fatty and sugary foods.
• Engage in regular physical activity such as walking, swimming, or yoga as advised by your doctor.
