Eplerezone 25 Tablet may interact with the following medications:

• Strong CYP3A Inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, ritonavir): The use of Eplerezone 25 Tablet is contraindicated with these medications.
• Moderate CYP3A Inhibitors (e.g., verapamil, erythromycin): Limit dose to 25 mg once daily as directed by your doctor.
• ACE Inhibitors & ARBs (e.g., lisinopril, losartan): The concomitant use may increase potassium levels; monitor regularly.
• NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen): The concomitant use may reduce effectiveness and increase kidney risk.
• Diuretics & Potassium Supplements: The concomitant use may cause high potassium levels; avoid combination use.

• High potassium foods: Avoid high potassium foods (e.g., bananas, oranges, spinach) to prevent hyperkalemia.

Eplerezone 25 Tablet may interact with the following conditions:

• Diabetes with Microalbuminuria: Patients with type 2 diabetes and microalbuminuria (small amounts of albumin in the urine) are at a higher risk of kidney complications and hyperkalemia (high potassium levels) when using Eplerenone.
• Severe Kidney Disease: Eplerenone blocks aldosterone, which normally helps the kidneys regulate sodium and potassium balance. In patients with severe kidney disease, this leads to a dangerous buildup of potassium (hyperkalemia), muscle weakness, and irregular heart rhythms.
• High Serum Potassium: Eplerenone works by blocking aldosterone, which increases potassium retention in the body. If potassium levels are already high (>5.5 mEq/L) before starting treatment, Eplerenone can worsen the condition, leading to severe heart complications.

An overdose may cause symptoms like low blood pressure, dizziness, or high potassium levels. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose.

If you forget to take your dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double your dose.
