En Dor Eye Drops 5ml

En-Dor Eye Drops are used for the following:

• Treatment of open-angle glaucoma

• Managing ocular hypertension

• Reducing elevated intraocular pressure

• Preventing optic nerve damage

• Controlling eye pressure when beta-blockers are insufficient

• Preserving vision in glaucoma patients

Follow these instructions while using En-Dor Eye Drops:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before instilling the eye drops.

• Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket.

• Hold the bottle close to your eye without touching it.

• Squeeze one drop into the affected eye.

• Close your eyes and press gently on the inner corner for about a minute.

• Wait at least 5 minutes before using any other eye medicines.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.

En-Dor Eye Drops are instilled topically.

En-Dor Eye Drops contain two active ingredients:

• Dorzolamide (2%): This component is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that works by blocking an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase II in the eye. This enzyme normally helps produce aqueous humor (fluid) in the eye, and by inhibiting it, dorzolamide reduces fluid production and lowers intraocular pressure.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.015%): This serves as a preservative in the eye drop formulation. It has antimicrobial properties that prevent bacterial contamination of the solution, ensuring the medicine remains sterile throughout its use.

• Store En-Dor Eye Drops at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Protect the eye drops from direct light.

• Do not freeze the medication.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Maintain adequate hydration: Drinking sufficient water throughout the day can help manage intraocular pressure (pressure inside your eye), which is important for people with glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

• Limit caffeine intake: Excessive caffeine consumption may temporarily increase eye pressure in some people, so consider reducing coffee, tea, and caffeinated soft drinks if you have open-angle glaucoma.
