Emigo Oral Solution is used to manage several conditions in children, including nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Additionally, it aids in the management of gastroenteritis-induced nausea and vomiting, providing relief from stomach and intestinal discomfort.
Before giving Emigo Syrup to your child, follow these instructions:
Shake the bottle well before each use.
Use the provided measuring cup or spoon to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
Give the syrup orally to your child as instructed by the doctor.
This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, please consult your doctor before giving them this medicine.
Always keep the bottle tightly capped after use.

Emigo Oral Solution may cause headache, constipation, diarrhoea, fatigue, dizziness, and drowsiness.

Receptor Antagonism: Ondansetron acts as an antagonist at serotonin 5-HT3 receptors located in both the small intestine and brain. This means it prevents serotonin from binding to these receptors.
Vomiting Suppression: By blocking these receptors, ondansetron effectively suppresses the nausea and vomiting reflex triggered during chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery or infections.
If your child has liver health issues, caution is advised while giving Emigo Syrup. It's best to consult your doctor before giving this medicine.
Children with a history of kidney problems should be given Emigo Syrup with caution. Consulting your doctor before giving this medicine is advisable.
Do not give Emigo Syrup to children allergic to ondansetron or other 5-HT3 antagonists. Seek immediate medical attention if your child experiences any signs of an allergic reaction.

Emigo Syrup interacts with the following medicines:
