Ebast 20 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and urticaria. It helps reduce sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy eyes, and skin irritation. The medicine improves comfort during allergy flare-ups without causing significant drowsiness in most patients.

Follow these instructions while taking Ebast-20 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• This tablet can be taken with or without food, but try to take it simultaneously daily.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet before consuming it.
• Never take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Ebast-20 Tablet is taken orally.

Ebast-20 Tablet contains ebastine (20 mg). Its action on the body involves:

• Histamine Blockage: Ebastine works by selectively binding to peripheral H1 receptors in your body. These receptors are usually activated by histamine, a chemical which triggers allergy symptoms.
• Allergy Symptom Reduction: By inhibiting these H1 receptors, ebastine prevents histamine from attaching to them and causing allergic reactions. This results in a reduction of inflammation and other discomforting symptoms associated with allergies.

• Store Ebast-20 Tablet in a cool and dry area, away from direct sunlight.

• The ideal storage temperature is below 30°C.

• Avoid keeping this medicine in damp places like bathrooms.

• Keep Ebast-20 Tablet out of reach of children.

• Use this medicine before its expiry date printed on the package.

• If you are experiencing allergic rhinitis, avoid coming in contact with allergens such as dust, pollen, and pet dander. Regular cleaning of your living space can help reduce these allergens.

• For those with hives or eczema, try wearing loose clothing made from soft fabrics like cotton to prevent irritation of your skin. Avoid tight clothes that may rub against the skin and cause further inflammation.
