CompositionEbast-20 Tablet is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, and itchy or watery eyes, and is also used for skin conditions like hives and itching. It is a primary treatment for allergic rhinitis and urticaria caused by environmental or seasonal triggers.
It contains ebastine, an antihistamine. Unlike some older antihistamines, it usually does not cause significant drowsiness, allowing you to continue your normal daily activities. Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, and continue it for the duration advised to keep symptoms under control.
Identifying and limiting exposure to your specific allergy triggers can help reduce how often symptoms occur. This may include keeping windows closed on high-pollen days, using dust-mite-proof bedding, washing bedding regularly, and keeping pets out of the bedroom if pet dander is a trigger.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems or are taking other medicines. Consult your doctor if you experience a persistent headache or dry mouth, or if your allergy symptoms do not improve. Use with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
