Doxolin-M Tablet is used in adults to manage chronic asthma, COPD, bronchitis, bronchospasm and allergic rhinitis, helping ease breathing difficulty and nasal symptoms over the long term.

• Asthma and COPD: Helps ease wheezing and breathing difficulty in chronic asthma and COPD.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Doxolin-M Tablet consists of two active ingredients that work together to manage respiratory conditions:

• Doxofylline (400 mg): As a bronchodilator, doxofylline works by inhibiting certain enzymes in your body known as phosphodiesterase enzymes. This leads to an increase in cyclic AMP levels, which relaxes the smooth muscles in your airways, reduces inflammation and decreases bronchial hyperresponsiveness.

• Montelukast (10 mg): Montelukast works differently than doxofylline; it's a leukotriene receptor antagonist. What this means is that montelukast blocks the action of a substance called leukotriene D4 on specific receptors (CysLT1) in your lungs and bronchial tubes. This action helps reduce swelling of the airway walls (edema), prevent contraction of smooth muscle, and lower inflammation levels, thereby preventing narrowing of the airways (bronchoconstriction) and relieving asthma symptoms.

• Store Doxolin-M Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.

• Keep it in a tightly closed container.

• Shield the medicine from light and moisture.

• Always place it beyond the reach of children.

• Use the tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.
