Dorsun Eye Drops is used to reduce raised pressure inside the eye in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is a single-ingredient carbonic anhydrase inhibitor eye drop containing dorzolamide.
It helps protect the optic nerve and preserve vision. Use the drops in the affected eye or eyes in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue for the full course even if your eyes feel normal, as raised eye pressure often has no symptoms.
Avoid wearing contact lenses while using the drops unless your doctor says otherwise, wash your hands before use and attend all scheduled eye pressure check-ups.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have any known allergies or kidney problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use, including other eye medicines. Report severe eye pain, worsening vision or a marked change in the colour of your eye or eyelid skin promptly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
