Dizone Tablet may interact with the following medicines

• Anti-seizure medications such as phenytoin: It may reduce the effectiveness of anti-seizure medications, potentially leading to seizures.
• Anti-asthma medications such as theophylline: This tablet may increase levels of anti-asthma medications, leading to potential toxicity and side effects.
• Blood thinners such as warfarin and dicumarol: It can enhance the effects of blood thinners, increasing the risk of bleeding when taken with this tablet.
• Anti-tuberculosis medications such as rifampicin and isoniazid: The tablet may interfere with the effectiveness of anti-tuberculosis medications, requiring dosage adjustments.
• Sedatives such as chlordiazepoxide and diazepam: Combining with the tablet may intensify sedation and CNS depression.
• Antipsychotics such as pimozide: It may increase the levels of antipsychotic medications, potentially causing severe heart rhythm disturbances.
• Antidepressants such as amitriptyline: This tablet may enhance the effects of antidepressants, leading to increased sedation.
• Antimicrobials such as metronidazole: It can lead to a severe reaction (Antabuse effect) when taken with metronidazole, causing nausea and vomiting.

• Caffeinated products such as chocolate, coffee, energy drinks, and tea may enhance caffeine's effects, potentially leading to increased heart rate and restlessness.
• Alcoholic beverages or alcohol-containing products/foods: Products like mouthwash, aftershave, sauces, and vinegar result in a severe reaction (Antabuse effect), causing nausea, vomiting, and discomfort.

In case of accidental ingestion of an excessive amount of Dizone Tablet, immediate medical attention should be sought. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, sleepiness, and weakness.

If you forget to take a dose of Dizone Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
