Dapa Vilda 50/5 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to control blood glucose:

• Vildagliptin (50 mg): This ingredient is a DPP-4 inhibitor (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor). It increases the levels of natural hormones called incretins that help control blood sugar after meals by enhancing insulin secretion when blood sugar is high and reducing the release of glucagon, a hormone that increases blood sugar.

• Dapagliflozin (5 mg): This component belongs to the SGLT2 inhibitor class of medicines. It works by preventing the reabsorption of glucose in your kidneys, which leads to the removal of excess sugar through urine.
