Cepocef 200 Tablet 10

Cepocef-200 Tablet is used in the management of respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis and sinusitis, and infections in the urinary tract.

Uses of Cepocef-200 Tablet 10 are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats pneumonia, bronchitis and sinusitis.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Manages bacterial urinary tract infections.

Cepocef-200 Tablet contains cefpodoxime proxetil (200 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Cell Wall Synthesis: Cefpodoxime proxetil works by blocking the formation of a critical component of bacterial cell wall called peptidoglycan.

• Weakens and Ruptures Bacterial Cell Walls: By inhibiting the synthesis of peptidoglycan, cefpodoxime proxetil causes the cell walls to become weak and eventually rupture. This leads to bacterial cell death and effectively halts the spread of infection.

• Keep Cepocef-200 Tablet in a cool, dry place.

• Protect it from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Ensure it is stored out of the reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use and dispose of any past its expiry date.
