Cefitaxe CV Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the chest and airways, urinary tract, ear, skin, and soft tissues. It helps clear the infection and supports faster recovery.
It contains cefixime, an antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects cefixime from certain bacterial resistance enzymes. Take it with or after food to help absorption and reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course exactly as directed, even if you feel better, to clear the infection and help prevent antibiotic resistance.
Drinking plenty of fluids and getting adequate rest support recovery from infection. If loose motions occur during treatment, staying hydrated helps; do not take anti-diarrhoeal medicines without your doctor's advice.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or if you have any kidney problems. Report any rash, severe or persistent loose motions, or signs of an allergic reaction. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
