Cardivas CR 40 Tablet is used to manage chronic heart failure, from mild to severe stages. It is also used to treat left ventricular dysfunction following a heart attack, especially in clinically stable patients, and to control high blood pressure (hypertension), supporting overall heart health.

Use Cardivas CR 40 Tablet in the following manner:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.

• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Cardivas CR 40 Tablet contains carvedilol (40 mg), which impacts your body in several ways:

• Beta-1, Beta-2 and Alpha-1 Receptor Blocking: Carvedilol slows down your heart rate by blocking beta-1, beta-2, and alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in your body.

• Decreasing Cardiac Output: By reducing cardiac contractility, the amount of blood the heart pumps out is decreased.

• Blood Pressure Reduction: Carvedilol aids in lowering blood pressure levels.

• Heart Workload Reduction: By slowing down the heart rate and reducing cardiac output, carvedilol helps reduce the workload on the heart.

• Vasodilation: Carvedilol causes blood vessels to widen, improving blood flow throughout your body.

• Store Cardivas CR 40 Tablet in a cool and dry place, with the temperature maintained between 20°C to 25°C.
