Canzol Soap 75 Gm contains ketoconazole (2%), which works in the following ways:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole blocks the production of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. By doing this, it disrupts the structure and function of these membranes.

• Increases Cell Membrane Permeability: When ergosterol synthesis is inhibited by ketoconazole, the permeability of fungal cell membranes increases. This causes leakage of cellular contents, eventually leading to fungal cell death.
