Peritop 1 % Soap is used for managing infestations of lice and scabies. The main ingredient, Permethrin is a synthetic insecticide from the pyrethroid class, used to manage scabies, head lice, and pubic lice by paralysing and killing parasites. It’s also applied to clothing and gear to repel mosquitoes and ticks. Effective when used topically, it provides fast relief from infestations and helps manage insect-borne ailments through prolonged protection.

• Management of Head Lice: It is effective in killing head lice and their eggs when applied to the scalp. Permethrin disrupts their nerve activity, managing their reproduction.
   
• Protection Against Mosquitoes: Permethrin is applied to clothing and gear to repel mosquitoes, especially in malaria- and dengue-prone areas. It stays on fabrics through multiple washes and creates a hostile surface for insects. This helps reduce bites and disease transmission risk.
   
• Manages Pubic Lice (Crabs): Permethrin is also effective against pubic lice, helping eliminate both lice and nits. It is applied to affected areas and washed off after a specific duration. This helps clear infestations and relieves itching and irritation.
