Brufen Junior 100mg Syrup is used to relieve pain and fever in children, including headaches, period discomfort, toothaches, colds, and mild arthritis. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing ibuprofen, and belongs to a class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

This medicine works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation, providing relief from these symptoms and easing associated discomfort.

Give it to your child exactly as directed in terms of dose, timing, and method, ideally after meals, to avoid the possibility of an upset stomach. Give the same amount if your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking it, unless it is already time for the next dose.
