Benitowa TM Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure

• Preventing complications of hypertension

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases

• Lowering the risk of heart attacks

• Preventing kidney damage from high blood pressure

• Decreasing the chances of stroke

• Controlling blood pressure in vascular smooth muscles

• Managing blood pressure in patients with poor kidney function

• Helping patients with resistant hypertension

• Supporting blood pressure control in elderly patients

Follow these instructions while taking Benitowa TM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Benitowa TM Tablet is taken orally.

Benitowa TM Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Benidipine (4 mg): This component blocks the movement of calcium ions into the muscle cells of blood vessels and heart. This action causes the blood vessels to relax and widen (a process called vasodilation), which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow throughout the body.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This works by blocking the effects of a substance called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking these effects specifically at the AT1 receptor, telmisartan helps blood vessels relax and widen, reducing blood pressure. It also decreases plasma volume and increases potassium levels in the blood.

• Store Benitowa TM Tablet below 30°C.

• Keep the Tablet protected from moisture and light.

• Store in a tight container if the original package is subdivided.

• Always keep Benitowa TM Tablet out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Dispose of unused or expired medicine properly.

• Reduce salt intake: Eating less salt helps lower your blood pressure. Aim to consume less than 5g of salt per day by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to your meals.

• Regular physical activity: Try to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise (such as brisk walking, swimming, or cycling) most days of the week to help manage your hypertension (high blood pressure).
