MET-PCO Care Tablet is a combination medication that works due to the coordinated activity of its different components:

• Myo-inositol (550 mg): This component improves insulin sensitivity, reduces androgen levels, and promotes ovulation by mediating insulin signalling and regulating glucose metabolism.
• D-chiro-inositol (13.8 mg): Derived from myo-inositol via an insulin-dependent process, D-chiro-inositol also improves insulin sensitivity and reduces androgen levels.
• Metformin (500 mg): An antidiabetic medicine that enhances insulin sensitivity, reduces the production of glucose in the liver and improves glucose uptake by peripheral tissues.
• L-methylfolate (0.5 mg): The active form of folic acid plays a crucial role in DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and homocysteine metabolism. It may help reduce insulin resistance in PCOS sufferers.
