Azimont L Suspension 60 ML contains the following components:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This component functions as a selective H1-receptor antagonist, meaning it blocks the action of histamine, a chemical responsible for allergy symptoms. By inhibiting histamine activity, levocetirizine effectively reduces allergic reactions.
• Montelukast (5 mg): This ingredient is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that targets the CysLT1 receptor in the body. Leukotrienes are substances released in response to allergens like pollen, leading to lung swelling and airway muscle tightening, which can trigger asthma symptoms. By blocking these receptors, montelukast helps prevent these adverse effects.
