Arbitel Am Tablet 10

Arbitel-AM Tablet is used in adults to lower high blood pressure and reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events through a combination of two medicines.

Uses of Arbitel-AM Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control raised blood pressure, alone or with other medicines.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Follow these instructions while taking Arbitel-AM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food, as per your preference.

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has advised.

• Do not stop using this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Arbitel-AM Tablet is taken orally.

Arbitel-AM Tablet contains two active ingredients, each contributing uniquely to the antihypertensive effect:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. It functions by stopping the movement of calcium ions into the muscles in your blood vessel walls and heart. By doing so, it causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. It works by binding to specific receptors in your body, blocking a hormone called angiotensin II. As a result, your blood vessels widen and the amount of fluid in your body decreases, reducing blood pressure.

• Store your Arbitel-AM Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep it in a dry and dark place to protect from moisture and light.

• Always remember to keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Make sure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• As you're taking Arbitel-AM Tablet to manage hypertension, try consuming a low-salt diet. Reducing salt intake can help control your blood pressure levels.

• Regular physical activity is also important. Aim for moderate-intensity exercises like brisk walking or cycling for at least 150 minutes each week. Always consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
