Apidra 100iu Injection 10ml may interact with the following medicines:

• Antidiabetic medicines such as metformin or glimepiride: Concurrent use may increase the risk of low blood sugar levels and may require dose adjustment or regular glucose monitoring.
• Beta-blockers such as propranolol or atenolol: These medicines may mask symptoms of low blood sugar levels such as tremors or palpitations, making hypoglycaemia difficult to recognise.
• Corticosteroids such as prednisolone: These medicines may increase blood sugar levels and reduce the effectiveness of insulin therapy.
• Diuretics such as hydrochlorothiazide or furosemide: Concurrent use may alter blood sugar levels and affect insulin requirements.
• ACE inhibitors such as enalapril or ramipril: These medicines may increase insulin sensitivity and raise the risk of hypoglycaemia in some individuals.

• Hypoglycaemia: Use of insulin during episodes of low blood sugar may worsen the condition and can be dangerous.
• Hypokalaemia:  Insulin therapy may reduce potassium levels in the blood and may worsen pre-existing hypokalaemia or electrolyte imbalance.

Overdose of Apidra 100iu Injection 10ml may lead to severe hypoglycaemia with symptoms such as sweating, confusion, tremors, blurred vision, seizures, or loss of consciousness. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.
