• Always ensure the affected anal area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of cream directly on the affected area and just inside your anus as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid any contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly.
• Do not apply on broken, inflamed, or infected skin.
• After application, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent any potential spread of infection.

Anomed L Cream 20gm contains three active ingredients:

• Nifedipine (0.3%): As a dihydropyridine class of calcium channel blocker, nifedipine acts on smooth muscles lining blood vessels, causing them to relax. When applied to the anus, it increases blood flow to the area, reduces anal pressure and allows sphincter muscles to relax.
• Lidocaine (1.5%): This fast-acting local anaesthetic works by temporarily numbing nerve endings in the applied area. It achieves this by stabilising the neuronal membrane and inhibiting the ionic fluxes required for nerve impulses to start and continue.
• Imudurea (0.2%): Imudurea in Anomed L Cream 20gm acts as a preservative, to protect the product from microbial contamination.

• Store Anomed L Cream 20gm at room temperature below 25°C.
• Keep it away from excessive heat and moisture.
• Do not freeze the cream.
