Anafortan Tablet 15

Anafortan Tablet may interact with the following medicines:

• Anticholinergic medicines (e.g., atropine, oxybutynin and trihexyphenidyl): Concurrent use may increase dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, urinary retention and rapid heartbeat because of additive anticholinergic effects.
• Tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline and imipramine): These medicines also have anticholinergic properties and may increase the risk of related adverse effects.
• First-generation antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine and promethazine): Combined use may increase anticholinergic effects and impair alertness.
• Anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin and acenocoumarol): Regular or prolonged paracetamol use may increase the anticoagulant effect of vitamin K antagonists and raise the risk of bleeding. INR monitoring may be required.
• Enzyme-inducing medicines (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital and rifampicin): These medicines may alter paracetamol metabolism and increase the risk of liver toxicity, particularly with excessive paracetamol exposure or additional risk factors.
• Other paracetamol-containing medicines: Concurrent use may cause accidental overdose and increase the risk of liver damage.

Anafortan Tablet requires caution in the following conditions:

• Glaucoma: Camylofin's anticholinergic activity may increase intraocular pressure, particularly in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma.
• Urinary retention or enlarged prostate: Its anticholinergic effects may worsen difficulty passing urine.
• Intestinal obstruction or paralytic ileus: Medicines that reduce gastrointestinal smooth muscle activity may worsen these conditions or mask symptoms requiring urgent treatment.
• Heart rhythm disorders or tachycardia: Camylofin may increase heart rate and cause palpitations.

Take Anafortan Tablet as directed by your doctor. The dosage and frequency will depend on your age, body weight, and the specific condition being managed. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not exceed the suggested dose without consulting them.

Taking more than the recommended dose may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dry mouth, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, confusion or difficulty passing urine. Excessive paracetamol exposure may cause severe liver injury, even if early symptoms are mild or absent.

If you miss a scheduled dose, take it when you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your prescribed schedule. Do not take a double dose. If the medicine is prescribed only when needed, a missed dose does not require replacement.
