Amoxyclav 375 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections.

Uses of Amoxyclav 375 Tablet are:

• Respiratory and ENT Infections: Treats chest, sinus, throat and ear infections.
• Urinary and Skin Infections: Treats bladder and skin infections.
• Dental Infections: Treats dental abscesses.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals to maintain a constant level in your blood.
• Take the tablet in the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.
• Always finish the entire course prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Amoxyclav 375 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Amoxyclav 375 Tablet 10 works in the human body in the following ways:

• Amoxicillin (250 mg): It works by inhibiting penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), required for the synthesis of peptidoglycans (the main component of bacterial cell walls). In the absence of a rigid cell wall, the bacterial cells undergo lysis, causing cell death.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): This component enhances amoxicillin’s effectiveness by binding to beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain resistant bacteria that would otherwise neutralise amoxicillin.

• Keep Amoxyclav 375 Tablet 10 in a tightly closed container.
• Store the medicine at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
• Avoid exposure to light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Remember to use the medicine before the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Ensure you stay well-hydrated. An ample intake of fluids aids in flushing out bacteria from your system and promotes recovery.
• To prevent the spread of infection, maintain good hygiene practices such as regular handwashing, especially before meals and after using the toilet.
