Almox-CV 625 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, sinuses, ears, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, bones, joints, and dental infections. It works by killing infection-causing bacteria and preventing their growth. This broad-spectrum antibiotic helps relieve infection-related symptoms while the antibiotic clears the infection, supporting recovery.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water; do not chew or crush it.
• Take your medicine, preferably at the start of a meal, to minimise possible stomach upset.

The Almox-CV 625 Tablet works in the following manner:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting the formation or synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Cell walls are essential for bacteria's survival as they prevent the cell's contents from leaking out. When amoxicillin inhibits the synthesis, it causes the bacterial cell wall to weaken and eventually burst, leading to the bacteria's death.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): Some bacteria can resist antibiotics by producing beta-lactamase enzymes that break down antibiotic medicines like amoxicillin. Clavulanic acid comes into play here. It inactivates these enzymes, thus preventing the breakdown of amoxicillin. This, in turn, enhances the effectiveness against these antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

1. Store Almox-CV 625 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
2. Keep the product in a tightly closed container to protect it from light and moisture.
3. Avoid exposing the tablets to extreme heat or direct sunlight.
