Almox-CV 625 Tablet is used in the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in adults and adolescents to clear bacterial growth and relieve symptoms.

Uses of Almox-CV 625 Tablet are:

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the lungs, airways, sinuses, and throat.
• Urinary & Dental Infections: Clears bacterial infections affecting the urinary tract, gums, and teeth.
• Skin & Bone Infections: Treats bacterial infections of skin, soft tissues, joints, and bones.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water; do not chew or crush it.
• Take your medicine, preferably at the start of a meal, to minimise possible stomach upset.
• Ensure you complete the full course as prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms improve before completion.

The Almox-CV 625 Tablet works in the following manner:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting the formation or synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Cell walls are essential for bacteria's survival as they prevent the cell's contents from leaking out. When amoxicillin inhibits the synthesis, it causes the bacterial cell wall to weaken and eventually burst, leading to the bacteria's death.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): Some bacteria can resist antibiotics by producing beta-lactamase enzymes that break down antibiotic medicines like amoxicillin. Clavulanic acid comes into play here. It inactivates these enzymes, thus preventing the breakdown of amoxicillin. This, in turn, enhances the effectiveness against these antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

1. Store Almox-CV 625 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
2. Keep the product in a tightly closed container to protect it from light and moisture.
3. Avoid exposing the tablets to extreme heat or direct sunlight.
4. Always keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
5. Ensure you use the tablets before their expiry date for maximum effectiveness.

• Keep your dental hygiene optimal if you're managing a dental infection. Regular brushing, flossing, and dentist visits can prevent further infections.
• If managing skin and soft tissue infections, maintain good skin hygiene. Cleanse your skin regularly with mild soap and water, and avoid harsh chemicals that may irritate your skin.
• If you're taking the medicine for respiratory tract infections, avoid smoking as it can aggravate your condition and delay recovery.
• For children with ear infections, ensure they avoid swimming or taking a bath until they've completely recovered to prevent water from entering their ears.
