Allertjoy L Suspension 60 ML is used to treat allergic reactions in children, including symptoms of seasonal allergies, hay fever, and urticaria (hives and itching). The syrup also helps manage associated respiratory symptoms of bronchial asthma and other conditions by reducing sneezing, nasal congestion, coughing, and throat irritation, thereby improving breathing and lung comfort.

Give your child Allertjoy L Suspension 60 ML as follows:

1. Shake the bottle well before giving this medicine to your child.
2. Measure out the exact quantity recommended by your doctor using a spoon or cup.

Allertjoy L Suspension 60 ML is given to your child orally.

Allertjoy L Suspension 60 ML contains two active ingredients:

Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This ingredient works as a selective H1-receptor antagonist. What this means is that it blocks histamine activity. Histamines are chemicals that trigger allergy symptoms. By blocking their activity, levocetirizine helps reduce these symptoms.

Montelukast (4 mg): This ingredient is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by inhibiting a specific receptor called CysLT1 receptor in our body. Leukotrienes are substances our body releases when we breathe in an allergen such as pollen. They cause swelling and inflammation in your lungs and tightening of the muscles around your airways which can result in asthma symptoms. By blocking these receptors, montelukast helps prevent these symptoms.
