Alkof-LS Syrup is used to relieve a chesty cough and breathing difficulty.

Uses of Alkof-LS Syrup are:

• Chesty Cough: Loosens and clears mucus in a productive cough.
• Asthma and Bronchitis: Eases wheezing and chest tightness in asthma and chronic bronchitis.
• Breathing Comfort: Relaxes the airways to make breathing easier.

Alkof-LS Cough Expectorant is used as follows:

• Measure the correct dose using a medicine cup or spoon.
• Take the syrup with or without food.
• Always remember to shake the bottle well before use to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
• Close the bottle tightly after use to prevent contamination.

Alkof-LS Cough Expectorant is taken orally.

Alkof-LS Cough Expectorant contains four active ingredients:

• Ambroxol Hydrochloride (15 mg): It is a mucolytic agent that helps loosen the mucus in the airways, making it easier to clear and facilitating productive coughing.
• Levosalbutamol (0.5 mg): It is a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles, providing relief from bronchoconstriction and improving airflow, which helps ease breathing difficulties.
• Menthol (0.5 mg): It is a cooling agent which has a soothing effect on the throat and airways. It provides a cooling sensation that can help reduce throat irritation and provide temporary relief from cough and congestion. Additionally, menthol can help open up the nasal passages, making it easier to breathe.
• Guaiphenesin (50 mg):  It is an expectorant which works by loosening and thinning mucus in the airways, making it easier for the body to expel. This helps to reduce the viscosity of mucus, facilitating its clearance and relieving chest congestion, cough, and related discomfort.

• Alkof-LS Cough Expectorant should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place.
• Keep it at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
