Akilos-P Tablet is used to ease pain and inflammation from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also helps manage low back pain, sciatica, dental pain, post-operative pain, dysmenorrhea, and provides symptomatic relief from headaches and migraines.

Here's how you should take Akilos-P Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It's best not to crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Always abide by your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and duration.

• Remember not to exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important to discontinue usage only after speaking with your doctor.

Akilos-P Tablet consists of two active ingredients that work synergistically for maximum therapeutic effect:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), aceclofenac inhibits enzymes called cyclooxygenases (COX), which play a crucial role in prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins are compounds that contribute to inflammation and pain. By suppressing their production, aceclofenac effectively reduces inflammation and alleviates pain.

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): The precise mechanism through which paracetamol works is not entirely clear. However, it is believed to act on the central nervous system by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain and spinal cord. Additionally, paracetamol influences the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre to produce an antipyretic effect, reducing fever.

• Store Akilos-P Tablet in a cool, dry place at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of children's reach to prevent accidental ingestion.
