Aerozest 100 MCG Rotacap 30

Aerozest 100 MCG Rotacap 30 is used for:

• Relief of bronchospasm in asthma.
• Relief of bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• Quick relief of sudden symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, and breathlessness.

• Carefully read the label or leaflet for specific instructions before use.
• Do not swallow the Rotacap capsule. Place the capsule at the base of the rotahaler device, not in the mouthpiece.
• Twist the mouthpiece of the rotahaler completely until a click sound is heard, which opens the capsule inside.
• Breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece to inhale the medication, then hold your breath for about 10 seconds to allow the medicine to reach your lungs.
• If there is any powder remaining in the rotahaler, repeat the inhalation process until the capsule is empty.

Aerozest 100 MCG Rotacap 30 is meant for oral inhalation.

Aerozest 100 MCG Rotacap 30 contains the following active component:

• Levosalbutamol (0.1 mg): Levosalbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (bronchodilator). It works by selectively stimulating beta-2 receptors in the smooth muscle of the airways, leading to relaxation of these muscles. This widens the airways (bronchodilation), reduces bronchospasm, and allows for easier breathing.

• Store at room temperature in a dry place.
• Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Avoid smoking as it damages airways and reduces the effectiveness of treatment.
• Stay away from allergens, strong odours, and polluted environments.
• Practise deep breathing and pursed-lip breathing to improve lung function.
